Set up a paper collage session

Choose a small selection of paper colors and a sturdy background. Offer age-appropriate tools and materials, with adult supervision where needed. Put scraps in a tray so the work area stays manageable.

Start by arranging shapes without attaching them. Try grouping similar colors, making a border or building a simple scene. Take a photograph of an arrangement before changing it if someone wants to compare ideas.

When the layout feels ready, attach the pieces with suitable glue and leave the work flat to dry. Write the date on the back. Keep favorite scraps together for another session instead of requiring a new set of materials each time.
